Welcome to J and B Portraits. My name is Becky Mey-er and I am the primary photographer for the studio. Photographer is too broad of a word for who I really am. What I really am is a capturer of smiles and mem-ories. I am an artist that creates heirlooms for gener-ations. I am the “silly lady” behind the camera when I need everyone to relax and have fun. These are just a few of the hats I wear, and that is why I don’t feel that “photographer” really describes what I do.

I designed this magazine for a couple of reasons. The first reason was to showcase what we can provide for your family. Within these pages you will find informa-tion about your senior session. The second reason is I wanted to provide you with important information about how you can make your session a success, and most importantly, what you can expect from start to finish. I want you to feel completely confident about

what is going to happen from the moment you call us to the day we delivery your order to you. We take great pride in the services we provide to give you the ultimate experience when you have your session with us.

Now that you know a little bit about the B in J and B Portraits, I want to tell you a little bit about the J. Jerry is my partner in life and in the business. My husband is the behind the scenes guy as well as my primary assistant. He is a very funny guy and is invaluable at getting my senior boys and dads to loosen up. He says it has to do with some male dna makeup that they understand what the other is thinking without saying a word. Jerry is also really good at predicting what I am going to want him to do or what I am going to need, before I even know sometimes.

I am excited about many of the things that are going to occur this year for our studio. For the last few years I have photographed my families in my living room, my basement, in their homes, and other locations. We are working diligently on obtaining our own studio and hope to have it completed by mid year. While most of my families prefer location shoots, I really feel it is im-portant that we have a studio so we can create amazing images indoors. This is important since we are in Nebraska where the weather changes every five minutes. I am also finally extremely pleased with the vendors I work with to bring you the highest quality of products. The images we create should be produced on the finest materials and of the highest quality.

This Is Your Moment In TimeSenior year marks the end of one road and the beginning of another. Your senior portraits are a lasting memory for you, your classmates, and your family. They capture your spirit and individuality at that exact moment in time ~ the time between childhood and adulthood ~ the time before you take that big step into the world.

We understand how important it is to you and your parents to capture this moment and preserve it for a lifetime.

All senior sessions include a pre-consultation. This gives us the opportunity to get to know you, and learn about what you want to incorporate into your session to emphasize your individuality. During the consultation we will discuss every aspect of what to expect, what to wear, and tips to ensure you have a wonderful session.

What to expect!

multiple locations and wardrobe changes•

•Viewing and ordering session within 2 weeks of your session

•• 100% Guarantee - If you are not happy with your images for any reason we will either reshoot the session, or completely re-fund your session fee. We work very closely with our vendors to ensure all product is 100% satisfactory as well. Your prints, albums, or specialty products will be perfect, or we will redo

them.

Project SeniorProject Senior is our vamped up referral program. Gone are the days of asking our high school seniors to come in for a portrait session and then ask them to just pass out referral cards. How boring is that?! We decided to kick it up a few notches and make if fun for our representatives.

Our senior coordinator is responsible for inviting 4 friends to join them in an all day pho-to session. This session includes many different locations, transportation to and from the studio to these locations, lunch and of course refreshments. During the session we will take many images of the group and the individuals participants. Already sounds fun, doesn’t it. But the fun doesn’t stop there.

Two weeks after the session everyone is invited to the Review Party. We ask all partici-pants to bring a parent and 5 different friends with them to this party. The party is de-signed for the group to see their images and introduce us to some of their friends. We provide pizza and refreshments of course!

The images created during the session will be used in promotional material for the studio, so we will need to ensure model releases are signed by the senior and their parent to par-ticipate.

Our coordinators receive 25% of their portrait and product orders as a thank you for coor-dinating the event with their friends. They will also receive 75% off an individual session and 25% their orders from that session as well. The participants will receive 50% off fu-ture individual sessions, and 15% off their orders from this session and future individual session. We make referring us really easy. We will create cards for them to hand out, but we also ask them to provide us with 10 names, address, and emails of their friends and relatives that they believe would be interested in our services. We also provide images for social media to help them promote us. In return for telling everyone how wonderful we are, we give referral credits when someone books a session with us. These credits can be used on print and product orders which will save mom and dad some money. They will thank you for this.
