Are you a cricket fan looking to improve your understanding of the game? Are you a cricketer coming to the end of your playing career who would like to remain involved in the game? Do you get dragged along to matches with your son/daughter, husband/wife, mother/father or friend? Wiltshire Association of Cricket Officials, part of ECB ACO, runs courses in umpiring at various levels. One-off taster sessions are available through clubs during the season. Full Level 1 courses (suitable both for those with some experience and for complete beginners with the necessary interest and commitment) are planned for this winter. Successful candidates may go on to higher level courses as part of the ‘pathway’ to Premier League cricket and beyond.Further details can be obtained on the Wiltshire Cricket Limited website (by following the link to Wiltshire ACO) :
