Content Objectives:• The participant will be able to plan an
effective PowerPoint (PP) presentation.• The participant will be able to critique a PP
presentation based on the design elements presented.

Language Objectives:• Working in small groups, the participant will
demonstrate proper planning of an effective PP presentation by completing (WRITING) a Thinking Map that will include the planning process and details.
• Select groups will be called upon to present their Thinking Map aloud (SPEAKING).

• Working in small groups and given a sample PP presentation, participants will read/view the PP, discuss it’s +/- design elements and fill out the +/- critique chart.– Read, discuss, write
