How to login to GoVIEW (WebBSIT) for the first time? What is my new GoVIEW D2L username and password? GoVIEW usernames for students and faculty enrolled in INGRESS processed courses have been changed with the migration to GoVIEW Desire2Learn:

• The “@” character in the username is replaced by an underscore “_”. For example, if your “old” username was jdoe3@gsw, your GoVIEW username will change to jdoe3_gsw.

For getting a new GoVIEW D2L password, please follow the below instruction. NOTE: GoVIEW D2L password must contain NO LESS than 8 characters.

• When you log in for the first time, BEFORE entering your username and password, click the Forgot Password? link on the login page. Do NOT enter anything in the username and password fields.

• On the next page, enter your GoVIEW username (with underscore “_”) and click the Submit button at the far right side:

• An email will be sent to your GSW email account (for students: GSW RADAR account) from

donotreply@donotreply.view.usg.edu that says:

Hi Joe, To reset your password for Georgia Southwestern State University, click the reset password link below and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that the reset password link expires 72 hour(s) after your initial request. Reset my password

• Please note that you have to reset your password within 72 hours. • Remember that your password is case sensitive and must contain no less than 8 characters.

Keep it in a secure place and do not share it with anyone. • Please note that you can reset your passwords from the login page by yourself at any time.

You don’t need to call or email GaVIEW Help. Just click the Forgot Password? link and follow the above instruction.

If you mistyped the password for 5 times, you will be timed out for 5 minutes. Then you can try again or consider resetting your password.
