  • HOW TO Copy HTML from iContact into a Custom HTML Template in Salesforce

    Why is Copying the HTML Necessary? iContact for Salesforce allows for email template creation easily, but in order to utilize this message, you must

    take the message from iContact into Salesforce. To do so, the HTML must be copied from iContact's editor into

    the Salesforce platform.

    What Are the Steps to Use iContact HTML in Salesforce?

    On the editor toolbar, click the Message Tab > Source button > Continue.

    In Salesforce, click Setup > Communication Templates (under Administer) > Email Templates > New Template.

    Select Custom (without using Letterhead), then click Next

    Select all the HTML and copy it to your clipboard, then click Close.

    Decide which folder to save the template in, check the Available For Use box, and give the template a name,

    then click Next.

    Give the template a subject (this is the subject your recipients will see when you send the email) and paste the

    HTML into the HTML Body box, then click Next.

    Click the Copy Text From HTML Version button, confirm that you want to copy text, then click Save.

    Review the final version.
