Tattoos How it Affects your JOB Prospects

Target audience (who is it for, be as specific as possible explain why)

• This is approximately aimed at 18-19 year olds as this is when they become more independent and start drinking more and becoming more adventurous with what type of activity the do. On holiday many teenagers in this age group get tattoos when under the influence of alcohol and the regret this after, as they have to live with it for the rest of their life. This will be predominately aimed at males from the age group of 18-19 as I will be presenting it and I am a male and usually the presenter decides the primary audience as females prefer females and males prefer males.

Content (what will be in it?)

• I will interview people with tattoos to see what's the furthest they would go in their tattoo endeavors, I will interview people that do job interviews and see if they would accept people with tattoos on their face. I will use locations such as being outside a tattoo shop or interviewing in front of stencils for tattoos.

Mode of address, (formal, informal, direct etc)

• I will use a formal mode of address towards the camera in the sign on and during the documentary as I will interview and I will speak to the person and will use the technique of over the shoulder filming when interviewing the other interviewee and will have a camera filming me ask the questions. This will be a direct address to the audience.

Purpose (why are you making it? To inform, entertain to raise awareness

of an issue?)• I am making this documentary to inform this

generation of people that once you have a tattoo on your face your career prospects will most likely change as a lot less people will be inclined to hire them.

Primary research• I have gotten a group of people within the age

group of 16-19 to fill out the questionnaire as they may be thinking of getting tattoos at the age that my documentary is aimed at.

Secondary reseaerch

• I searched up and found a story that a girl got 56 stars tattooed on her face at the age of 18 there was even a website where you could “Kimberlize” your face so I went on it.
