House of Hygge launched in 2004 the first slackline-kit in the world, empha-sizing our innovation and dedication, also resulting in a Guinness highline World Record.

Our state-of-the-art slackline-kits have been developed through rough testing, vast experience and highline pioneer-ing, aiming to make the most functional, lightweight and esthetic products on the market. You can trust our products, as we have used the same equipment 1000 meters above sea level.

• The webbing should be rigged maximum 1 meter above ground.• Make sure anchors are solid.• The tightening should be performed by hand power only. • The surface should be soft, such as grass or sand. • Adults should supervise kids. • Only one person should use the slackline at a time. • Rig down after use to minimize the exposure to rain and sun. Please store the equipment indoors in a dry place, to expand the lifetime of your slackline-kit.

Slacklining is a practice in balance on a dynamic webbing tensioned between two anchor points. Slacklining helps to train balance, coordination and concentration, making it a useful foundation for many other sports.

Our products are lightweight, esthetic and user-friendly, developed and produced exlusively for slackline.

Place a sling around the first anchor point and con-nect with a carabiner. Place a sling around the sec-ond anchor point, connect with a carabiner, and close the carabiner onto the webbing loop.

2. The LINe LOCK. (fIg. 2)

Lead the webbing in the direction towards the first anchor point. Attach the line lock as featured on fig. 3, with approximate 1m distance to the an-chor point. Leave 2-3 meters of loose end for the tightening system.

3. The CaRabINeR TIghTeNINg SySTem. (fIg. 3)

The 2-3 meters of loose end is used for making the tightening system. Pull it towards the carabiner of the first anchor, and lead it though from beneath and up. Then, lead it back to the carabiner attached to the line lock, and lead it through from above and down. Repeat the action. Important: Place the second loop of webbing underneath the first loop, so that the inner loop is clamped. You are now ready to pull.

4. DISaSSembLINg:

Lead the webbing back in the opposite direction that you placed it. By using a little force by whipping, you will release the webbing. Please be careful so that you don’t squeeze your fingers. Open the line lock and un-clip the whole setup.

Make sure the static rope is released so that the pulley system is at its full length. Clip the pulley block w/brake onto the carabiner attached to the first anchor, and the pulley block w/o brake onto the karabiner attached to the linelock. Pull the static rope to tighten the system. When the sys-tem is tight enough, resume tension and change the angle of the rope so that the breaking arm moves into locking position.

4. SafeTy KNOT. (fIg. 4)

Make a safety knot so that the locking arm cannot accidentally be moved out of position.
