Butter - 200gm

Egg- 5 nos

Sugar -250gm

Baking powder-1tbs

Salt - a pinch

Dry Fruits-150gm

Chocolate essence-2ml

1.Measure all the ingredients correctly.2.Break the eggs in the mixing bowl, and add sugar.3.Beat well together until the creamy texture,at the meanwhile cream the butter.4.Add the creamed fat in the mixtures,mix well.5.Then add sieved flour with baking powder.6.Fold well,finaly add the dry fruits and chocolate essence.7.Transfer into the greased baking mould, and bake at 180 C for 45 Minutes.

1. Fresh green peas boiled and coarsely ground – 250 gms2. Sugar – 100 gms3. Almond fine slivers – 20 gms4. Cashew nut finely chopped – 20 gms5. Kismis – 20 gms6. Green cardamom – 02 no.7. Mawa grated – 50 gms or fresh cream (optional)8. Ghee – wee bit9. Black peppercorn – 02 no. (optional – twist mouth feel)

1. Remove strings of the pea shells, par boil and pound or grind2. Heat ghee in a non-s�ck pan3. Add the coarsely ground peas mixture and sauté to get the flavor4. When it leaves the sides of the pan add sugar and allow cooking further5. Add cream to enhance taste and richness (smooth texture)6. Add green cardamom powder and op�onal crushed black peppercorn7. Garnish with almond slivers, chopped cashew nut, kismis and grated mawa and serve hot
