The four-diamond Omni Shoreham is nestled on 11 acres in picturesque Rock Creek Park in the northwest section of Washington, and is only steps away from the National Zoo. Accommodations Rooms have been reserved at the Omni Shoreham Hotel at a special conference rate of $225 per night single or double occupancy, not including sales tax. Learning ObjectivesNeonatal Quality at Hot Topics will provide participants new information and tools to enhance the quality and safety of care provided to neonatal patients and implement change. There will be opportunities to continue the interaction and care processes developed to produce a multidisciplinary continuous improvement program in your hospital.

The faculty at Hot Topics in Neonatology® will review current levels of evidence and practice in the areas of neonatology and perinatology. The program will include talks and discussion on the newest research on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of health problems in the neonate, as well as long-term follow-up for the NICU graduate.

PostersPosters for both the Quality and Hot Topics conferences will be accepted for continuous display during breaks, and before and after receptions. Posters must be on a subject that is being presented at the meeting. For more information on abstract requirements and submission, please check our website – www.HotTopics.org. Please indicate Quality Conference in the subject line of your email if you are submitting an abstract for the Quality Conference. NEW THIS YEAR!In the interest of running a greener meeting, all registrants will have access to an online syllabus, which can be viewed from a computer, smart phone, or tablet before or during the conference. There will be free WiFi in the meeting rooms. You may still order a print syllabus when you register if you would like, for a small additional fee.

This year marks the beginning of a collaboration between the Hot Topics Planning Committee and NANN to involve more nursing colleagues in the conference.

COURSE REGISTRATIONFeesThe conference registration fee for the Neonatal Quality at Hot Topics Pre-Conference is $200. The conference registration fee for Hot Topics in Neonatology® is $750 for the Main Room and $500 for the AV Room*. This fee includes all course materials and refreshments as noted on the schedule. There is no additional charge for CME credit. * In the Audio/Visual room, speakers are videoconferenced to a large screen at the front of the room. This session is moderated, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions of presenters. The setup for this room includes chairs for attendees, but there are no tables.
