Castellar de la Fra. – Jimena de la Fra. – El Colmenar – Cortes de la Fra. – Grazalema

Day 1: Castellar de la Frontera - Jimena de la Frontera

We will start this adventure path in the town of Castellar de la Frontera, from where we will go

up to Castellar by the ancient roman road, we will visit the castle and village on horseback. After

this impressive visit and travel in time, we will take direction to Jimena de la Frontera. After 5

hours riding through fields, rivers and cork trees, we will arrive at the rural hotel Rancho de los

Lobos, where will have a refreshing dip in the swimming pool of the accommodation, as well as

a hot dinner.

Day 2: Jimena de la Frontera – El Colmenar

First thing the next morning, we will depart to the Colmenar, a small white village that belongs to

the province of Malaga. It is probably the hardest and most intense part of the route, having to

ascend over 7 hours to reach our destination. We will be staying at the Cottage Ahora, where

we can enjoy its supply of natural therapies and its ecological dining, and a beautiful stroll

through this typical white Andalusian village.

Day 3: The Colmenar – Cortes de la Frontera

After the dawn of the third day we will go through a beautiful route to Cortes de la Frontera,

going through the Natural Park of Los Alcornocales and enjoying an environment totally

protected and natural, away from any kind of civilization. After 4 and half hours, we will arrive at

the village of Cortes de la Frontera, situated to the west of the province of Malaga, in the Valley

of the Guadiaro in the Serranía de Ronda. End of the program.
