Silicon Saxony makes a vital contribution to the active site marketing for Saxony as an economic region. it regularly represents the network and its member companies’ competences at national and international trade fairs related to the semiconductor, photovoltaic and software industries. More- over, Silicon Saxony organizes a variety of events and projects, e.g.: joint exhibition booths, member forums, symposia and workshops.
our website and newsletter inform our members and partners about events and exhibi-tions, current news and developments.

the Silicon Saxony division Photovoltaics was created as an informa-tion and contact platform for the participants in the rapidly grow-ing field of solar engineering in 2008. due to the enormous pressure posed on the enterprises to achieve the grid parity, the division has developed into an excellent service provider for its members within a short time. this is realized mainly through the project SolarcorE (corE = cost reduction) sponsored by bMWi (Federal Ministry of Economics and technology) and through the project advancement in single work groups.
