• Following are the list of activities to be done by students to have fun with learning:

1. ENGLISH

“My ‘sh’ Picture Book”: Prepare a small picture book of 10 ‘sh’ words with one picture on one page

(Size- half of A4). Write the word and its meaning in your own handwriting. Paste/draw & colour

pictures beautifully. Decorate the cover. Compile the sheets in the form of a book.

2. EVS

Helpers play a very important role in our life. Collect 3 real objects related to the helper given to you.

Students whose names begin from:

1. A-E : Teacher

2. F-J : Cobbler

3. K- O : Gardener

4. P- T : Tailor

5. U- Z: Postman

Put the objects in a zip pouch and attach on an A4 size coloured sheet. Also, paste the picture of that helper

and decorate the sheet.

3. ART & CRAFT

DECORATED PAPER BAG

Material – Paper Bag, Old News Paper, Scissors, Stapler , Water Colours, Glue

• Take a newspaper and cut 5 flowers of different shapes and sizes. Colour them with water colours.

• Now take one flower of each color and overlap in ascending order and staple them.

• Make 6-7 flowers like that, and paste them on the carry bag.

• Be stylish, carry your things in this decorated carry bag.

• Label your attractive carry bag and bring it to school.

6. LIFE SKILLS

Grand Parents hold a distinguished place in our lives, especially in the hearts of their grand children.

As a part of our life skills curriculum, we aim to revive the skills of respect and empathy in our little

Goenkans. Kindly make your ward spend quality time with his/her grandparents and do activities like

listening stories, playing, going for a walk etc. Thereafter make a collage on an A4 size sheet depicting

those activities through pictures, photos or illustrations and write few sentences.

7. FUN WITH FRUITS

KIWI MOJITO

Ingredients: Serving: 04

2 Kiwis

120 ml Sugar Syrup

1 Bottle Sparkling water (Soda)

Coconut Water

Ice Cubes/Crushed Ice

Lemon Slice for garnish

Fresh mint sprigs as required

Method:

o Blend 2 peeled Kiwis with crushed ice and coconut water.

o Place a handful of fresh mint sprigs in each tall glass & muddle them.

o Divide the iced Kiwi equally into 4 glasses and mix the ingredients.

o Now add 30ml Sugar Syrup (as per the taste) in each glass & mix well.

o Top it up with soda & ice.

o Mix it well, garnish with a lemon slice, sprigs of mint and serve chilled.
