• For many years chocolate has been referred to as junk food
along with other sweets and has been regarded as an
indulgence. The recent studies have thrown some new light on
its health benefits as well. Research on these benefits of eating
dark chocolate for all age groups and write about it in not
more than 100 words.

• Suppose you are home alone for 3 days with ₨1000 in your
piggy bank. Select the grocery items you will need for those 3
days, you can refer to www.bigbasket.com. Prepare a budget
table showing the money spent wisely in those 3 days.
• Imagine you get a chance to be home alone for a week and you are free to do anything. Prepare a time organizer showing each day of that week in a scrap file. Write the number of hours spent on each activity. Include at least 1 creative activity each day. Click pictures while doing the activity and paste it in your time organizer. Some examples of time
organizers are given below for your reference:
• Make a collage on “Devastating Natural Calamities”. On the basis of the collage prepared write a an article or prepare a speech of 150 words,
educating students with basic tips on ‘What one should do in case of any
Natural Calamity’.

Children will make a project on any one of the following topics. 1. MODERN METHODS OF AGRICULTURE.
- Visit the nearest agricultural centre
- Talk to agricultural scientists and veterinarians to learn about modern methods of agriculture to increase the productivity to meet the domestic as well as international demands. SWASTH BHARATH ABHIYAAN / IMMUNISATION PROGRAMME - Go to the nearest government hospital or a primary health center and find about the various immunisation programmes. - Doses of vaccines given for various diseases. - Have you been vaccinated? - Are your friends? Find out. - Staple the Xerox copy of your health record. - Find about the booster doses. POLLUTION CHECK - Visit a petrol pump in order to learn about the process of conducting a pollution check - Systematically record your findings in the following areas. - a) Average number of vehicles checked per month. - b) Time taken to check each vehicle. - c) Pollutants checked for. - d) The process of measuring emission level of vehicles - e) Permissible levels of emission of various gases. - f) Measures taken if the emitted gases are above the permissible limits. - g) How frequently is a pollution check required?
Note : School will Remain closed from 22nd of May 2017 till 2nd of July 2017 on Account of summer break. School will reopen on 3rd of July 2017.
