Holocaust

meaning Reich national party convention, was the annual rally of the Nazi party in Germany, held from 1923 to 1938. There were more events like this, especially after Hitler's rise to power in 1933.

Concentration camps during the Holocaust, were basically camps where the slaughtering of Jews and harsh labor would take place. One of the ways they did this was gas chambers. This photo is showing The gates to Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp

This photo is showing a small part of the Nazi youth. The Nazi youth lasted from 1920-1945, Movements for youngsters were part of German culture and the Hitler Youth had been created in the 1920's. By 1933 its membership stood at 100,000. After Hitler came to power, all other youth movements were abolished and as a result the Hitler Youth grew quickly. In 1936, the figure stood at 4 million members.

• This picture is showing two Nazis, dis- respecting and being racist towards the Jewish people. This is also showing these two men putting up posters saying not to buy from Jews, for no reason other than the fact that Adolf Hitler told them to….

This picture is describing the amount of deaths during the holocaust, it is showing the fact that the majority of the deaths were children. This is because the children could not help with manual labor, they could not cook or clean, or help with any heavy lifting, simply because they are not strong enough. To the Jews the children were basically useless.
