Welcome to Show Week 2016!Here we are again celebrating another exciting Show Week. This year we have been invited to hold Show Day in the lovely grounds of Green End, Coombeshead Road, by Mr & Mrs Simmonds.
All events for the week are listed below, so get the dates in your diary!
ExhibitsAll entries will be exhibited in the Village Hall, hopefully you’ll look through the programme and find something you can enter. Go on, have a go!
Polite NoticeIf you’re driving to any event during the week, we ask that you park with consideration for the local residents. Please do not bring dogs to Show Day due to the large numbers attending - we wouldn’t like your dog to be hurt!
Show Week EventsTuesday 12th July An Evening with Margaret Duffy 7.30pm start at the Hall. £8 which includes supper. Gates open 2pm with the Auction of Exhibits and prize giving in the Hall from approximately 4pm.

Show Rules
To avoid confusion on Show Day, please endeavour to get your entry fees and forms to: Ruth Tole, 4 Belvedere Road, Highweek, by 9pm on Thursday 14th July.
1. All exhibits in the adult classes must have been either raised, grown or made by a competitor.
2. Any purchased pot plants must have been obtained at least 3 months prior to the show.
3. Children’s classes are open to all children. Entries must be their own unaided efforts during the last 12 months.
4. Entries will be accepted on Saturday 16th July between 9 and 10am at the Highweek Village Hall.
5. No competitor shall win more than one award in any class.6. Points awarded will be 1st 3 points, 2nd 2 points, 3rd 1 point.7. Judging will start at 10.30am and the judges decision is final.8. Entries submitted will be auctioned at the end of the show.9. Those items not for auction should be marked ‘Not for Sale’.10. Please do not remove entries from the display before 4pm.
All competitors must leave the hall before the start of judging.
