OVINA 714-020A multi purpose comb. The convex design ensures quick and easy wool entry delivering maximum safety and reducing nicks and skin cuts. Multiple uses include shearing, crutching, dagging or side sampling.

CAMELID 714-025This specialised comb is designed for shearing llamas, alpacas, guanacos and other members of the camelide family. Also suitable for sheep and other large animals. Leaves a cover of 6mm to10mm of fibre. Used in conjunction with a standard shearing cutter.

COMB LIFTER 714-099Attaches to the comb effectively raising it from the skin and leaving a generous cover of wool on the animal. Heiniger recommends the use of Heiniger electric handpiece comb screws in conjunction with the comb lifter.

SHATTLE 714-090This unique comb has a 25 tooth concave design. Used for clipping cattle, horses and a range of other animals, can be used on an electric or mechanical shearing handpiece with a standard cutter.

SLICK 714-115The SLICK is the redesigned MOHAIR comb specifically designed to shear Goats. A concave 17 tooth design provides a high degree of safety ensuring nicks and skin cuts are kept to a minimum. Uses include demonstration shearing, side sampling and stud sheep shearing.

WARNING! The use of winter combs can be dangerous if paired with unsuitable cutters.

Heiniger recommends only the use of its EDGE AND XTREME cutter combinations with its winter comb profiles and warns against the use of Jet and or Diamond cutters on winter combs.

If you are unsure, we recommend you contact representatives of shearing equipment manufacturers before using winter comb profiles.

As an added precaution Heiniger recommends the use of the Evo shearing plant for all shearing tasks.

JET 714-010 Full Thickness

The Jet provides maximum throw for extra wide combs. Fine points with a steeper angle provides extra lead on thin combs. The shorter centre teeth allow quicker cutting on concave combs. Parallel ground to ensure even tension and precision re-sharpening. Not suitable for use with winter comb profiles.

XTREME 714-152 Run-In

The Xtreme cutters design paralleled that of the Edge cutter sharing many of the Edge’s attributes including safety features eliminating potentially dangerous comb and cutter mechanical lock ups. The Xtreme is run-in and engineered to give high performance straight from the packet.

EDGE 714-151 Full Thickness

4.4mm thickness. A wider throw and further reach provides a greater selection of lead options. The Edge cutter eliminates comb and cutter mechanical lock ups when used with Heiniger combs and minimises them with other brands.

DIAMOND 714-011 Run-In

Ideal for use on any thickness of comb. The Diamond cutter is suitable for all types of sheep. Parallel ground to ensure even tension and precision re-sharpening. Not suitable for use with winter comb profiles.
