Health Innovation Summit by Corporate Venturing Professionals Roundtable III
Mission objective of the July 2017 Summit:Developing business collaborations among participating delegates among healthcare professionals, investors, business operators of different geographies by focusing on disruptive innovations lead by venture portfolios
What is the focus of this event?• The conference is centered around “Health Innovation” with a special interest on finding
solutions for issues relating to aging societies around the globe.
Who attends? Three types of delegates will attend the SummitvHealthcare professionals and researchers vInvestors (VCs, Incubators, Accelerators & Growth Capital Funds)vBusiness operators of all sizes: o large established companies (people engaged in business planning, CVCs and M&A) o privately owned mid-size companies (with distinctive manufactures & services)o venture capital portfolio companies (from North America, Japan, Asia, Europe)
Key messages sought from speakers: • Healthcare professionals and researchers: What issues are we facing in healthcare today & tomorrow• Investors: What disruptive innovations we are betting on, and how we make them successful w/examples• Business operators: New business strategies of today & tomorrow in a context of open innovation• Venture portfolios: “This is who we are & what we do” through Rapid-fire Presentations
Topics of interest: Wide ranging ideas on Health Innovation including digital health, IT, services, medical instruments, medical robotics, new materials, biotechnology, health science as well as new drug discoveries.
What is so unique about this Summit?• We use web-conferencing technology extensively at this conference• Speakers are invited from from North America, Japan, Asia and Europe to a single forum via the web-conference• It is no longer necessary to travel long distance to attend/speak at the conference• We also host physical conference venues in Tokyo, Silicon Valley and Munich as the majority of delegates
are still expected to meet-up in person as there is nothing to substitute face-to-face networking

●Satellite Venue in Silicon Valley hosted by TMI Associates (San Mateo)Date: Monday, 7/10Time: Panel Sessions: 16:00 – 19:30 WST (Tokyo-SV are connected via Web conferencing)Rapid-fire presentations: 19:30 to 21:00 WST After 21:00 all local participation to this conference shall be switched to video streaming & a chat room. Capacity:25 to 35 people including speakers
