Brief Description of Undergraduate Courses Taught: (Course Title – Code: Description) 1 Course MDSG 452 : Introduction to Surgery 4th year level.
A 6 credit-‐hour course that extends over a 6-‐week period and is offered to the 4th-‐year medical students for 4 rotations per year. The course emphasizes history-‐taking and physical examination. It comprises four rotations per year, each is six weeks duration. This is an introductory course for general surgery. It aims to expose the student to clinical skills, clinical diagnosis and the pathophysiology of surgical diseases. Written and clinical examinations are required at the end of the rotation . )Principles of Surgery for the 6th year students 2(
A 9-‐credit-‐hour course in Medicine that lasts over 9 weeks and is offered to 6th year medical students for 4 rotations per year. The course concentrates on patients’ management, follow-‐up and principles of therapeutics.
Four rotations per year, each is nine weeks duration. An OSCE examination is requirement at the end of the course followed by final certifying examination

Brief Description of Postgraduate Courses Taught: (Course Title – Code: Description) 1 participation in postgraduate training and evaluation of surgical interns, junior and senior residents, and
demonstrators. It involves bedside clinical teaching, lectures, clinico-‐pathological meetings, tutorials and seminars (1984 -‐ present.( • Active participation in the Residency Training Program of the Saudi Board and Arab Board of surgery. The program is a 5year residency training and certified candidates are equated to those who hold other postgraduate degrees (2000 -‐ present).
