CALLING OUR SCHOOL-AGE
CHILDREN…
CHRISTMAS EVE IS COMING!!..... and along with all the music and singing at the 5:00 Christmas Eve service, we will need to have some kids (kindergarten age and up) who would be willing to help Pastor Jim tell the Christmas story by being the characters (like Mary, Joseph, angels, shepherds, wisemen). You don’t have to memorize anything, just be willing to go up front when it is time. We also could use a few of you that would be scripture readers. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Wolfe. This, again, is an awesome way to be part of this special Christmas celebration. Looking forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to email or call me with any questions. Grace Lutheran Supports Youth Outreach & Young Life
Grace has an excellent opportunity to outreach into the community and impact high school students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christie Elliott is working
through the joint effort of Young Life and the Stand (Grace’s high school ministry) in this outreach. We are seeking to support her financially on an ongoing basis. You can contribute online or through the offering envelopes by designating “Christie Elliott - Young Life”. Contact Pastor Scott at [email protected] or 760-213-0854 with any questions. We’ve Missed You Do you know of a church member that has not been at church or has been ill? Maybe they need a visit from an Elder or special prayers? If you know of a member that could use a call from the church, please let us know. Call or e-mail JoAnn in the church office: 760-745-0831 ext. 113 or [email protected]

Gary Madison 760-745-6202 Women’s Ministry Book Club During the month of November, we will be reading "The Daughters of Mars", a story of two sisters whose lives are trans-formed by the cataclysm of World War I. The two spirited Australian girls join the war effort as nurses, and nothing could have prepared them for what they confront. The book is written by Thomas Keneally, (the author of "Schindler's List"). We will meet for the book discussion and a light Christmas dinner at the home of Judi Anderson on Thursday, December 5. Please sign up on the clipboard at the Women's Ministry cart. Need more details? Call Judi at (760) 443-2278. Hope you can join us!
