From Danny’s Heart

There is much excitement around your LBA these days as we continue to expand and enlarge the ministries God has placed upon us. The Mission Center is growing. My home visit list grows each week as I engage families we have helped and share a witness with them. Our churches are assisting in the community outreach venues in apartment complexes and apartments in a huge way. We are in 10 complexes and/or trailer parks regularly now, and on average we are seeing 4-5 of our churches participating at each venue! All of the complexes are located either in Western Hattiesburg, Sumrall, Purvis, or Lumberton. One of our churches, Calvary Baptist Church, has adopted Kilsby Trailer Park and has bought and place an activities trailer in the trailer park rent free! Children’s venues are going on there weekly. We are planning a block party and dental clinic there soon. Many of our churches have asked to partner with them to do community evangelistic outreach venues. So far, Baxterville, Greenville, Sumrall, and Corinth churches have had these venues and are penetrating and touching lostness significantly. If your church would love for your LBA to partner with you to do a community outreach venue to penetrate and touch lostness in you community, all you have to do is call me and we will set it up, schedule it and run it with you! Three of our churches are without pastors: Bellevue, Greenville, and Okahola. Okahola may be close to calling a pastor and the other two are still looking. Please pray for them. Financially, we still are operating slightly in the ‘black’ since January 1st! Some of our churches that have had financial problems are giving again! I want to say again ‘thank you’ for letting me have the joy and privilege to be your AMD. Partnering with you is the greatest joy of my life. Danny Henderson, AMD
