Welcome on board the Hanse 370. Like no other

yacht, it highlights the developments we have been working

on. The Hanse 370 is the result of an evolution that started

when we built Schttelfrost, the Hanse 371 concept boat that

won on the race course and won the hearts of customers as

well. We have put many of those ideas and suggestions into

the design of the all new Hanse 370.

But we have improved more than just a few details. We have

radically redesigned the deck not just for the eye but for

practical sailing as well. Below deck you will not recognize this

as a boat that is only eleven metres. Have a look around and

you will be surprised.

Now have a closer look. You may already have disco-

vered the hot-water supply in the galley and the new refrigerator

that you can load from the top and from the front. There is no

shortage of space down below. Have you had a closer look into

the saloon? How do you like the interior decorations? We offer

them in several styles and you can select from various woods,

cushions and even hull colours.

At Hanse we push forward all the time. We can tailor make the

layout according to your wishes. A long settee on the port side

instead of the chart table? Of course, no problem. Two cab-

ins aft? Well fit them. But there is one thing we are adamant

about - the large separate shower stall will stay!

We have already told you that our course is evolution.

We polish up details that will make life on board safer and

more comfortable for you and we offer luxury as a standard

feature. We also do something for the tall people in this world.

They will find headroom of two metres in the saloon, and they

can sleep on two metre long bunks. Luxury as a standard

feature - Typically Hanse.

Let us talk a bit about materials and technology. More than half

of the acrylic windows can be opened. And the diesel engine

we have hidden comfortably under the companionway, so that

maintaining it is real fun and easy too.

Only a light construction is a fast one as well and the

Hanse 370e is a tangible example of this wisdom. We can make

this fast yacht even faster because we are offering it in an epoxy

construction as well. We know this material very well as we have

gained mile-wide experience with high-tech yachts. You will save

about ten per cent weight compared with traditional composite

yachts. Let the others slave away on their heavy boats while you

race past.

Epoxy has yet another advantage. You can forget the dangers of

osmosis. And you are helping the environment by avoiding the

evaporations of the usual composite materials. No wonder it is

seen as the material of the future.
