Caring for your PewterYou can hand wash your pewter with a mild soap andwater and towel dry thoroughly. Do not put it in thedishwasher. We recommend cleaning it once a yearwith good quality pewter cleaner, like our own Hamp-shire Pewter Wash. Wash (order item HP01). Aftercleaning apply dry constarch with a soft cloth orsponge. Rub the cornstarch all over it and then justdust off with a soft cloth. If you get scratches on yourpewter’s finish, you can blend them right into thepatina by rubbing the startch with a very fine steelwool, or a presoftened “Scotch Brite” pad. With a min-imum of care, your Hampshire Pewter will last foryears to come.

NEW! HM192 White Island Lighthouse2 1/2” x 2 3/4”The first lighthouse in the Isles of Shoals was subsequently built on WhiteIsland in 1820, and it went into service in January 1821. It was a stone tower,later encased with wood and shingled.

The current tower was originally built in 1859. Over the past 150+ years thelighthouse has undergone many repairs, the most recent was in 2005 whenover 1,000 bricks were replaced.

Mechanics Street BridgeThe Mechanics Street bridge is located in the Town of Lancaster, New Hampshire and spans the Israels River. The bridge is 94’3” long witha clear span of 79’4”. It has an overall width of 22’10” with a roadway width of 19’3”, and a maximum vertical clearance of 11’8”.

The covered bridge was built in 1862 using the Paddleford truss system.

The Old Man of the Mountain was a series of five granite cliff ledges onCannon Mountain in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, USA that,when viewed from the north, appeared to be the jagged profile of a face.The Old Man collapsed on May 3, 2003.
