A high quality microscope with integrated micro and macro viewing systems for the comparison, side-by-side of two objects. This microscope is commonly used in forensics for examining ballistics, fibres, tool marks and other materials and also in archaeology, palaeontology and other collections and artefact identification studies. This microscope is supplied complete with 3 sets of eyepieces and 6 objectives sets giving an overall magnification range of 7.68X – 120X, more than enough to encompass most examination tasks.
The two tiltable stages include fine vernier movement controls and rotation for easy specimen manipulation. The long working distance of 100mm makes specimen mounting very simple. The microscope includes both conventional and cold light sources giving plenty of flexibility. Cameras and a range of other useful accessories such as bullet and cartridge holders can be mounted onto the microscope; it is designed to be versatile tool for the widest range of specimens.
