Our coaches support each of our swimmers to reach their full potential, whilst our club provides a supportive, enjoyable and friendly environment for them to grow into great sportspersons whilst making lifelong friendships.

Our club provides a positive avenue for children aged between 5 and 21 years to develop socialization skills, improve fitness, learn organizational and time management skills, all whilst setting attainable goals and gaining personal reward.

GS Aquatics aims to be an inclusive club with an approachable committee and a welcoming environment.

WELCOME

Welcome to the GS Aquatics Swim Season 2014-2015.

At GS Aquatics we strive to continually improve our club whilst helping our swimmers to continually improve as both swimmers and people.

At GS Aquatics we do not focus on where you start as a swimmer, but on where you want to go.

Our club holds the following values in high regard:

- Good sportsmanship

- Participation

- Fairness and Equality

- Commitment to Task

- Commitment to Club

We welcome you and your family to club night every Tuesday and hope you will help us by listening in on our opening address. This is a great way to keep abreast of what is happening in and around club. It is also a great time for us to award achievers, which is always much more fun with a bigger audience.

At GS Aquatics we encourage all of our members to respect the volunteers and other swimmers; appreciate the commitment from our head coaches Peter and Brian; respect themselves, each other and each other’s property; take care of their friends, stay safe and continually strive to do their best in and out of the pool.

GS Aquatics has a great tradition of helping kids improve across all of the swimming strokes, as well as giving them experience in racing formats and procedures. Helping them get ready for carnivals, school swimming competitions and age championships.

Above all we want our swimmers to look forward to our weekly club meets, attending with a great attitude and a big smile. This is how we make our club a great place to be.

We look forward to welcoming your family as part of our team for this season.

Regards,

Michelle Prenzler

Club President
