Wow This month has been pretty hard

so far in Florida. We have lost a lot

of people from cruel acts of deranged people.

These events occur and we need to pray for the families and even the

criminals that take these actions. I know we are all here for a great

purpose and hurting and killing

fellow men/women is not part of what we are meant to do.

We really need to remember to take some time and be patient with

people and love one another as we

are meant to do. We all are created with Greatness

within us and we need to show that greatness. If you think you don’t

have greatness, start to educate yourself with a strong interest you

have. Your greatness will start to

emerge. Our greatness can come from

disciplined action that makes us better individuals that become part

cities, states and our world. These disgraceful events on

humanity do not show the best of

our human capabilities. We are better than this! We can love each

other as other humans. The color of your skin doesn’t matter, your

size or age doesn’t matter, nor

does what you have or what is in your bank account.

We can make such a difference for our world and ourselves by

being the best people we can be. As Jim Rohn said, “Work harder on

yourself than you do on your job”.

Great people together are a great world and who doesn’t want to be

part of a great world? Let’s “WOW” the world with our

kindness and growth to be great

from ourselves to others.

Reality An article from the thoughts of

Bob Brumm I hope you enjoyed the last article Growth. This month I want to write about “Reality”. As I mentioned in the previous article February was hard for Florida. Even closer to home we had a friend of our murdered the same week leaving an orchestra rehearsal. Today we attended the “celebration of Life” for Caroline Morton-Hick and the reality was there. I can give 3 guarantees to anyone, Death, Taxes and Change. The reality of death was present again today as Caroline left behind three children and many friends and acquaintances. Her great spirit of living life and trying just about everything and always being nice to everyone with a smile and inquisitive questions really allowed Caroline to enjoy life and share that with others. This type of ceremony really make you wonder if you’re doing this short-term thing we are doing called “life” correctly. The reality that we cannot take anything we supposedly watch or work so hard for with us. Even the things we work so hard for, our family and friends we cannot take with us when it is our time to leave this rotating globe. The best we can do is treat one another with great respect and smile.

These “celebrations of Life” help people to re-calibrate their lives to remember the good things about our friends and family. However, what are we doing? How is our path going thus far? When will our time come? Will we have time to correct anything? I also heard of a young man of 44 years old that found out in January he had non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. 5 weeks later he was gone. He will not see his two daughters of 8 & 10 grow. But as his mother said, he would just see them grow from a distance. My point of this scenario is not to depress you, as that is not a very positive message. However, reality has a way of kicking you in the gut to get your attention. So I thought I would enclose something to let you know the type of person I am constantly striving to be. I have written my obituary. Robert L. Brumm, Jr, beloved husband to Kim for not enough years, father to Zachary, Benjamin and Louis Brumm. Three highlights of his life that he

encouraged to go for their dreams but be respectful to yourself and especially others. Bob was a Speaker, Author, and Encouragement Engineer that offered audiences to see a positive perspective in life’s situations to many audiences. Bob grew his business by helping others to fill the needs they have, not necessarily his needs first. Give what you want” is something Bob would often say. Bob could often be found improving things around the house and rarely sitting still. A trait at least one of his boys inherited. He would do over 100 push-ups everyday to stay fit to keep up with daily tasks. Bob was active in his church and firm believer in the gifts God has for us and within each of us and the promise God has for us. Well this reality sounds kind of “blah”... So I will be working to make my life better so this can be written to show the colorful life I will have lead and the influence I will give. HOW CAN I SERVE YOU?
