The turkey has become a symbol of the American Thanksgiving holiday. It represents the joysof food and eating..and the pleasure of taking some time out of our busy lives to be thankful

for our blessings...Ben Franklin is said to have even suggested the turkey as our national bird!While that never came about we still enjoy the turkey as THE bird for Thanksgiving... Sitting

around the table with family and close friends we enjoy the pleasures of food and family.....

At Rittners Floral School in Boston, we enjoyplaying with the various holidays of the year

and their symbolic motifs.

This e-book represents a collective effort.One of the joys of my job is that I get to work

with and teach wonderful and incrediblytalented people.

The staff and students at Rittners all started

with a novelty container that represents theTurkey....The base is prepared with a plastic

liner and some foam...Most of these designsare appropriate for Thanksgiving. Some could

be used for Christmas.

The order of the turkeys presented, and sizeof the photographs was randomly selected.

It is our hope that you get enjoyment andinspiration from these small turkey floral

designs.
