Unit of WorkThis week we have enjoyed having some parent speakers into the class to talk to us about celebrations in their Home countries. We

have also thought about celebrations the children have done throughout their lives and put them onto a celebration timeline.

Some of us have been able to compare two different celebrations and present our findings on a Venn diagram.

MathsWe have been consolidating addition and

subtraction methods and applying them to problem solving scenarios. Have a go at solving

these:Challenge your children to use the counting on /

back method. Can they try making ten or subtracting from ten?

Reminders• School finishes at 12:20 on the last day of term Friday 13th December.

Please make sure you make arrangements to pick your child up at this earlier time.
