Decorate Easter Eggs!

Cute Crayon

Draw designs on an egg with a crayon. Press firmly while drawing. Then dye in a color. Let dry.

Swirly Swirl

Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to each color and stir. Quickly dip an egg into one color of dye and remove. Repeat for more vibrant color. Let dry. Then, if you want, dip in another color.

Covered in Dots

Put office-dot stickers on an egg. Dye the egg in a color. Let dry, then peel of the stickers.

Sponge Fun

Put 5 drops of food coloring into a cup with a few drops of water. Dip a sponge into the dye and press it on an egg. Let dry. You can use other sponges with different colors.

This verse is saying that you can do ANYTHING with Jesus. Wow! Can you believe it? ANYTHING with Him! But, this verse is NOT saying you will be good at everything or that you will be able to do everything perfectly the first time you try something new. What a great verse to memorize and live by!

*First make some cupcakes.

Gather:

Cupcakes White Frosting Marshmallows

Pink Icing Mini Marshmallows Blueberries Pink Jellybeans

Go:

1, Frost cupcakes with white frosting.

2. Put marshmallows on top on the sides as ears.

3. Put blueberries on as eyes.

4. Put to mini marshmallows on as the mouth. And then draw whiskers with pink icing.

5. Put a pink jellybean on as a nose.

6. Eat! Yum!

After school I went to our Bible study for girls, held once a week, with Ashley and Hailey. We had invited Hailey to come and her mom said she could. I knocked on the door. Hello Ashley and Megan, Mrs. Torres greeted us, And who is this?

This is Hailey Waters, she just moved here.

Well I am so glad you invited her! Mrs. Torres smiled at us, Come on in girls.

What are talking about today? Ashley inquired.

Today we are talking about gossip. The Bible has quite a lot to say about gossip, Mrs. Torres motioned for us to sit down.

Gossip? I didnt know the Bible talked about gossip. My eyebrows wrinkled in confusion.

Yes, it does. Especially in Proverbs, Mrs. Torres replied. Everyone is here, I think, so lets get started.

That was a great lesson, wasnt it Ashley? I asked.

It sure was. And it reminded me about the gossip at school about Hailey.

I didnt know the Bible talked about things like gossip. And.well.you know there is gossip going around school about me. I dont want it to ruin are friendship like that verse in Proverbs says, Gossip separates close friends. I think we should, before believing any gossip, ask each other if its true, added Hailey.

Great idea! And I have a feeling that our friendship will last a long time, I smiled.

Hi, everyone! Im Ashley Keith. Today Im starting a blog. I will hopefully write about my weird and crazy experiences. I didnt have much happen to me this month but, here is what did. Every year for Easter my parents hid plastic eggs with chocolate in them, inside and outside the house. The one who finds the most wins a huge chocolate bunny. Yum! So anyway my sibling and I were racing around inside and outside the house looking for plastic Easter eggs. When, and I dont know exactly why, I got really thirsty and so I decided to get a drink of water. I set my bucket on the bench right outside our front door and went in. When I came back out my bucket and all of my plastic Easter eggs were gone. At first I thought it was one of my siblings, but then our dog, a black lab named Mallie, came walking past me with her face covered in chocolate and a plastic egg in her mouth. I had found the culprit but there went all my chocolate and Easter eggs and my chance of winning the huge chocolate bunny. Oh well, I can try again next year! And next time I am not going to have a drink break! Did you like this?
