prize in Technical Poster presentation held at Mahavir

polytechnic, Nashik.

Ms. Pratiksha Jadhav and Ms. Manjusha Gavali secure

Second prize in Poster Presentation at Sandip

Dr. J. G. Joshi presented research paper on “Tri-

Band Wearable Microctrip Patch Antenna” in

IEEE international symposium on Antennas and

propagation during 15/12/2016 to 17/12/2016,

at Cochin University of Science and Technology,

Cochin.

Prof. A. S. Laturkar completed one week training

program of “LABVIEW Software” during

01/05/2017 to 05/05/2017 at NITTTR Bhopal.

It is immense pleasure to present the Newsletter when department is preparing for NBA accreditation. During

this period the even semester completed successfully. The First ever Alumni meet was organized successfully

on 20th March 2017. The new curriculum completed one year. The department staff adopted the outcome

based curriculum and explained the importance of it to students.

Expert Lecture on “Need of Electronics in Industry”

by Mr. Sanjay Chaudhari, Director of Electronics

Study Center, Nashik has been conducted on

22/01/2017.

Expert Lecture on “Roll of Sensors & Controllers in

Industrial Automation” by Mr. Ravindra Angal has

been conducted on 30/01/2017.

Alumni Meet The first ever alumni was conducted

successfully on 20th

March 2017 in the presence

of Honorable Principal Prof. D. P. Nathe Sir.

Total 68 students reported for the meet from

different pass out batches since last five years.

The program was inaugurated at 11.00 am by

Honorable Principal Sir. Principal Sir explained

importance of alumni meet to students and also

guided them about role of engineer in society.

Few students expressed their views about

department and importance of curriculum

which they learn in G P Nashik.

The meet was concluded at 1.00 pm with a

working lunch to all.

Mr. M. V. Patil was Coordinator for the event

and different committees of staff and students

were formed for successful conduction of the

program under guidance of Head of department

first and second shift.
