In compliance of DoPT. O.M. No. 36012/45/2005- Estt. (Res.) dated 10.08.2010, the Competent Authority hereby appoints the under mentioned Senior Observers (Pay scale : Rs. 5000-150-8000) (now Scientific Assistant with effect from 01.01.2006) in the cadre of Scientific Assistant (Pay scale : Rs. 5500-175-9000) on notional basis with effect from the dates indicated against their names below.

2. Promotee Senior Observer (now Scientific Assistant with effect from 01.01.2006) should give an option for fixation of pay on notional promotion in the cadre of Scientific Assistant within one month from the date of issue of this Office Order as required vide Department of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 1/12/97-Estt. (Pay-I) dated, the 23" I April, 1999 circulated under DGM UOI No. E(3) 134/0C/97 dated, the 10 th September, 1999. Option once exercised shall be final. If, he does not give any option within the prescribed period, it will be presumed that he has opted to get his pay fixed directly from the date of promotion. Persons concerned will reckon notional promotion & seniority in the cadre of Scientific Assistant from the dates indicated against their names in column 4. However, payment of arrears will not be admissible to them. Benefit of pay fixation will not be allowed in respect of officials who have earned financial upgradation in the scale of Scientific Assistant under the ACP Scheme prior to the date of their notional promotion in the cadre of Scientific Assistant.

3. Seniority of the promotee will be fixed in accordance with the Govt. Orders on the subject.
