The Governance Leadership Programme is an executive development programme for company secretaries and governance professionals. Programme DirectorAnna Bateson is the founder of strategy consultancy Cutting Through The Grey. An experienced business facilitator, she is involved in the design, development and delivery of a range of initiatives to address governance challenges and professionalise boards. Anna has over four decades of experience working with leading-edge clients across a wide variety of industries, enabling them to enhance their Situational Intelligence and make sense of complexity as they develop and deliver change strategies and lead their implementation.

The residential experienceFour days of immersive learning will leave you inspired, energised and equipped with the insights and techniques to really make a difference to your organisation.

DeliveryAcross this unique, four-day experience you will explore the changing role of the governance professional and how you can unlock its possibilities. Crucially, you will discover where your strengths and potential lie in order to help you develop as a leader of governance. Throughout the programme there are opportunities to collaborate,

share with and learn from your peers. You will also benefit from exclusive access to the programme director, Anna Bateson, and inspiring after-dinner speakers.

The result is a personalised action plan developed to commit you to applying new thinking and behaviours. Following the residential experience, you will receive an individual coaching session to support the application of your learning, reflecting on your strengths and aspirations. You will also have access to further mentoring and support from ICSA as an alumni of the programme.
