Kagey

&

I trust that you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It’s important to pause and count the blessings and

continued promises of God. He is faithful and remains forever in love with you. It’s no accident that we have this

opportunity to give thanks before we move into the celebration of His birth. Too often this has become the busiest

times of our lives with schedules of family gatherings, parties, and shopping sprees. It may not be on your radar,

but those long lines and “irritating” people may be the opportunities God is surrounding you with to speak words of

comfort and hope. During a time when so much of Christmas has been replaced with loud noises in our mind that

leave no room for celebrating the birth of our Savior. To everyone who finds themselves dreading the busy schedule of December,

hit pause for a moment. Pray that the month of December will be a time of renewed hope and purpose for you and your family. Look

expectantly for what God has planned for you in the New Year. May 2020 be the year you see more clearly the plans God has for

you. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and

a future”. Jeremiah 29:11

“Pay careful attention then to how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise making the most of the time.” - Ephesians 5:15-16

“For we live by faith, not by sight.” - 2 Corinthians 5:5:7

Thank you again to everyone who shared gifts and cards with words of affirmation and encouragement to me during pastor

appreciation month and my birthday. Lois and I are both on the mend after spending days in the hospital getting our hearts fixed.

Thank you so much for your prayers! We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much for all the boxes that you packed. Cornerstone packed a total of 328 boxes, great job everyone! If you would

like, we have shoe boxes in the foyer for you to pick up to pack throughout the year as you see those sales.

Dear Cornerstone family, Can you believe this will be the 26th Christmas that we have celebrated together as a church family? We have created some great memories and some beautiful traditions. For several years, we had a float in the Christmas parade. We have worshipped the Lord by hosting a community Candlelight Service that we now have over 300 in attendance each year. This year will be our fourth year of having the “Drive Through Living Nativity” which has rapidly become a community favorite. We have had a great year and I along with your Church Staff wish you a Christ-filled Christmas and a Happy and Blessed 2020!

Merry Christmas from the Staff!
