Pastor’s Corner
12 As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves
with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. 13 Bear with one another and, if anyone has a
complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord[f] has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 Above
all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your
hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ[g] dwell in you richly; teach and
admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.[h] 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving
thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:12-17 NRSV)
.
Join for our worship experience this Sunday with
Holy Communion and a message on PATIENCE.
Your St. Luke Church Family Needs Your Help!
Monthly, the St. Luke Prayer Outreach Teams contact all members of St. Luke who are on the church prayer list. Contacts are made by sending a card/note, email, phone
call or personal visit. We invite you to volunteer to become part of this
important ministry. There are NO meetings to attend. You will simply be asked to
contact between 10-12 church members only three (3) times each year. When your quarterly monthly rotation comes up, you will receive the
names of those you are asked to contact. Vickie will provide St. Luke notecards, if you wish to use them. She will also post all cards/notes that
you drop by the office. As you share God's love with others, you can be certain that you will be
blessed, too.
