We live in a world of suffering, pain and death because God’s law has been pushed aside.

Satan rebelled against it and claimed it was an onerous yoke that deprived intelligent beings of reaching their fullest potential.

This is to be a lesson to the whole universe about sin and its terrible results.

Satan’s hatred of the law will end up proving forever that God’s law is holy, just and good.

Worship God Only – Matt. 4:10

True worshippers worship the Father in spirit and truth. John 4:23

Rich man who worships his riches – Luke 12:19-22, 31

Hallowed be thy name. Matt. 6:9

Glorify your Father in heaven. Matt. 5:16

Vainly speaking and calling God Lord when you don’t believe it. Matt. 6:46-47

Swear not at all, let your yes be yes and no be no. Matt. 5:34, 37

Holy is His name. Rev. 15:4

Don’t blaspheme His name. 1 Tim. 6:1, Romans 2:23

By claiming the name of God but not walking a righteous life, we take God’s name in vain. 1 Jn. 5:12, 2:6

God blessed and sanctified Sabbath at Creation. Genesis 2:2-3

Abraham kept all of God’s laws, statutes and commandments (including Sabbath). Genesis 26:5

Children of Israel were told before Sinai to rest and not gather manna. Ex. 16:23-30

The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. Jesus Lord of the Sabbath. Mark 2:27-28

Jesus went to synagogue on Sabbath. Luke 4:16

Lawful to do well on Sabbath. Matt. 12:11-12

Pray your flight not on Sabbath. Matt. 24:20

Paul told people to worship God who made heavens, earth, sea (over and over).

Paul kept Sabbath. Acts 13:42, 44, 45; 16:13; 17:2-4

Paul worked, but not on Sabbath. Acts 18:3-4.

The Sabbath remains for God’s people. Hebrews 4:4, 9

Ham’s disrespect to his father Noah brought a curse. His brothers showed respect and were blessed. Gen 9:21-26

Isaac obeyed Abraham even to his death and in marrying Rebekah. Genesis 22:9-10, Genesis 24

Jacob obeyed his father and mother. Genesis 28:7

Jesus’ story about Corban and the true meaning of honoring father and mother. Matthew 15:4-9

Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. Eph. 6:1-4

It pleases God for children to obey parents. Col. 3:20

Let the children show piety and obedience at home. 1 Tim. 5:4

The story of Cain and Abel. Cain was first reproved for anger (leads to murder) and then cursed for killing. Genesis 4:5-6

The Devil was a murderer from the beginning. John 8:44

Jesus expounds on “thou shalt not kill”. Matt. 5:21-24, Matt. 5:43,44

All they that take the sword will perish with the sword. Matthew 26:52

Hate is murder. 1 Jn. 3:15; 2:9-11;4:20-21

Haters will not make it to the kingdom. Gal. 5:19

Put away hatred and bitterness and anger. Eph. 4:31

Murderers in the lake of fire. Rev. 21:8

The two shall cleave together and were bone of each other’s bone. One flesh. Genesis 2:23,24

God withheld Abimelech from the “sin” of adultery. Genesis 20:6,7

Joseph knew adultery was sin. Genesis 39:8-9.

Job also kept the whole principle of this command. Job. 31:1, 9-11

Divorce was not as it was in His day from the beginning. Matt. 19:8,9

What God has joined together… Matt. 19:4-6

Looking in lust at a woman. Matt. 5:27

Divorce in many cases is wrong. Matt. 5:32, Mark 10:11

Marriage honorable and pure. Heb. 13:4

Flee fornication. 1 Cor. 6:18, 2 Tim 2:22

Sexually immoral not in kingdom. 1 Cor. 6:9-10

Don’t fashion yourselves according to the former lusts. 1 Pet. 1:13-15

Bring all thought into captivity to Christ. 2 Cor. 10:5

Job not only identifies stealing as a sin but several other commandments here. Job 24:14-16,18

Joseph’s brothers knew stealing was wrong, they were ready to die if found thieves. Genesis 44:8-9

The first sin involved Adam and Eve stealing something they were expressly forbidden to take.

Christ’s mission is the opposite of a thief. John 10:10

All through His teachings, we see the concept of GIVING to others in contrast to grasping, get for myself, carnal nature. Stealing in the opposite of giving.

Let he that stole steal no more. Eph. 4:28

Thieves and swindlers will not be in the kingdom. 1 Cor. 6:10

More blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35

Deceptiveness has been the devil's trademark from the beginning, for "he is a liar and the father of it". (John 8:44) Lying and bearing false witness was all part of the first sin in the garden of Eden. Just see how God's word is not only contradicted, but false witness insinuating that God is withholding a great blessing is made. Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:4-5, Job 27:4

Jesus points to the father of lies. John 8:44

The full meaning of the command explained. Matt. 12:34-37

Priests and rulers bore false witness against Jesus to kill him. Matt. 26:59, Mark 14:56

Put away lying and speak truthfully. Eph. 4:25

No corrupt communication. Eph. 4:29

All evil speaking put away. 4:31

Lay aside guile, malice, hypocrisies, envy and evil speakings. 1 Pet. 2:1

Idle chat and busybodying forbidden. 1 Tim. 5:13-15

Coveting is the root of most sin. Lucifer coveted God’s position. Eve coveted forbidden fruit, which led to eating it.

In ancient chinese oracle bone writing, 4500 years before our time, the pictogram for the word “covet” is two trees and a woman.

Be on guard against coveteousness. Luke 12:15

Don’t worry about your life, eats, drinking, clothes. Matt. 6:25

Coveteous will not inherit the kingdom. Ephesians 5:5

Be content with what you have and don’t hope for riches. I Tim. 6:8-9

It existed before God spoke it at Sinai. All the patriarchs lived their lives by it.

Jesus knew it, expounded the true meaning of it, and KEPT it Himself all during His life. John 14:15, 21, 23-24

All the Apostles knew and kept it. Romans 13:9

It is immutable; it has never changed because God never changes!! Malachi 3:6
