Healthy Lifestyle Activities TAI CHI: Combines physical movement and meditation. YOGA: Breathe, stretch your body and mind, develop flexibility and balance through standing yoga poses. Please wear comfortable clothing.

GENTLE YOGA: Great for beginners. ZUMBA FITNESS: Dance-fitness program with Latin music. FAMILY OPEN ART: Get creative and relax together with art.

Support Groups* Weekly support groups offer an opportunity to share experiences and understanding with others in a similar situation. To be assigned to a group, schedule a Customized Membership Plan (CMP) appointment at 708-684-9505. WELLNESS GROUP: For individuals diagnosed with cancer FAMILY GROUP: For those supporting a loved one with cancer

Networking Groups (NG)

These educational and supportive networking groups are open to those who themselves have cancer and those supporting a loved one with cancer. Walk-ins WELCOME!

BREAST CANCER NG: Facilitated by Patrice Stephens, MSN, APN & Megan Brady, LCPC, ATR-BC. CAREGIVER NG: Facilitated by Kimberly DeJong, MA, LCPC GASTROINTESTINAL CANCER NG: For those impacted by colorectal, gastric, liver, pancreas, cholangio-carcinoma, gallbladder, and other GI cancers. Facilitated by Kelly Post, RN, MSN, OCN GRUPO DE APOYO LATINO: Un grupo de apoyo mensual para pacientes Latinos y sus familiars, en cual pueden obtener informacion, compartir recursos, y recibir apoyo emocional. Lectures and Special Events CANCER SURVIVOR BOOT CAMP*: Join our 7-week, 14 session exercise and fitness program to improve your aerobic ability, fitness knowledge, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Try a variety of exercise styles, including Boot Camp, Yoga, Weight Training, and Zumba. Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 pm. Participants must have completed a Customized Membership Plan prior to registering for this program. To schedule your CMP or to register for this program, please call 708-684-9505.

CYBERKNIFE AND RADIOSURGERY IN THE TREATMENT OF CANCER LECTURE*: Join us for an overview of radiosurgical techniques, including CyberKnife, in the treatment of cancer. We will define radiosurgery, and discuss various treatment modalities within radiosurgery, including cancers where radiosurgery may be used for treatment. We will also cover the patient experience, as well as the post-treatment setting. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Facilitated by Harsha Varadhi, MD, Radiation Oncology, Affiliated Oncologists, LLC. Wednesday, March 23, 5:30-7:00 pm. Please RSVP.

“COURAGE TO QUIT” SMOKING CESSATION PROGRAM*: Courage to Quit is a comprehensive group tobacco treatment program for adults. Program leaders provide information, practice skills, and support to help you reach your smoke-free goals. 3-week & 6-week sessions available. Facilitated by Tamika Perry, MS. Thursdays. Program Descriptions

Noogieland: Children & Teen Program

A program for children, teens and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Our ACMC Clubhouse includes a fun space where kids can be kids. Please call to RSVP.

KID SUPPORT: A series of 10 weekly peer support groups for children ages 4-12 with cancer themselves or who have a loved one living with cancer.

KIDS BEREAVEMENT: A series of 10 weekly peer support groups for children ages 4-12 who have experienced a

cancer related death of a loved one.
