The first overseas project (RAK Ghani Glass llc), a 40 ktpa container glass, producingalpha pharmaceutical containers (light weight bottles) based on latest NNPBtechnology, has recently been inaugurated by The Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler ofRas Al Khaimah – HH Sheikh Saud Bin Sakr Al Qasimi.

RAK Ghani Glass features the only glass plant in MENA Region with Class 100,000Clean Room Facility.

With world class equipment from Horn of Germany, Emhart ofSwitzerland, Zippe of Germany, Entonini of Italy, the projectengineering, procurement and construction was done by Ghani.

The actual cost for the project was US$ 30 Million.

The products of RAK Ghani Glass are now being exported to 21countries across the globe.

As a value addition of float glass production, Ghani group set up a mirrorsilvering and tempering project in 2009.

The 25 thousands ton plant was fully engineered and constructed by Ghani

The project is producing to ASTM standards; both for mirror and temperedglass.

To achieve the world class quality, the silver nitrate and backing paint isimported from Europe and Fenzi paints

In a short span of time, Ghani mirror has captured a market share of 70%,replacing imports and low quality local manufacturers.

The tempered products are being well received in the market for majorconstruction projects as well as for automotive, home appliances andfurniture segments.
