Advantages and CharacteristicsThe DYWIDAG GEWI®Plus pile is adrilled micropile with a central steelelement based on the GEWI®Plusthreadbar with hot-rolled, continuousthread deformations on both sides. TheGEWI®Plus threadbar is encapsulatedin cement grout which acts both ascorrosion protection and as loadtransfer into the soil or rock.

■ Excellent load transfer into concretestructures by means of anchoringelements

■ Tensile, compressive and alternatingloads can be efficiently transferred tothe structure

■ The coarse GEWI®Plus threadguarantees maximum bond betweensteel and cement grout

■ The stress-strain curve of the GEWI®Plus bar shows high ductility

■ Settlement can be prevented byusing preloaded GEWI®Plus piles
