Work in pairs. One of you is Student A, one is Student B. Student A asks the first question. Student B rolls the dice to determine the answer to the first question. Continue this for all the questions,

then swap, so that Student B asks the questions and Student A answers. Give your answers in a full sentence in German. Try extending your sentences to give extra detail.

Teaching notes

Each pair needs a copy of the first page and a dice. The sheets could be printed on card and

laminated so that they can be reused.

Student A asks the first question and Student B rolls the dice and gives the corresponding

answer.

Once Student A has asked all the questions, Student B takes over asking questions, with A

providing the answers.

As there are many variations, vocabulary, question constructions and responses can be practised

many times for reinforcement.

There is a help sheet for students that require additional support. Suggested answer extensions

for more able students are also included on this sheet.
