  • Astronaut twice participated in NASA missions to the International Space Station. In total, he spent 692 hours in space.His first spaceflight was in 2007 as pilot on STS-120 Discovery. To the International Space Station astronauts have provided such Node 2 module "Harmony", which in future will allow it to attach to international laboratories.During his second flight into space in February 2010, Castle commanded STS-130 crew of Endeavour. To celebrate the Year of Chopin took on board the space shuttle a CD with music of Frederic Chopin performed by Charles Radziwonowicz and Sinfonia Viva and a copy of the manuscript of the Prelude in A major, Op. 28 No. 7

  • Roman Polanski made a Chinatown with Jack Nicholson in the lead role. The film became a huge hit, won 11 Oscar nominations (1 awarded - for best screenplay) and seven nominations for Golden Globes (4 granted - for best film, best director, screenplay and male lead.).Another award-winning film director Roman Polanski became produced in 2002 war drama The Pianist. The film won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Festival, 7 Cesar Awards (French Film Academy Award) and three Oscars (for best director, adapted screenplay and actor.)
