Outright protagonists every year at SIGEP are: traditional Italian artisan gelato, the professionals of this sweet artisan art and the entire prestigious supply chain. The Gelato World Cup is organized every two years, and has now reached its 7th appointment. It is dedicated to professionals in the gelato, confectionery, chocolate-making and high-class gastronomy industries of the 5 continents and represents a unique chance for individual professionals to get together and discuss their trades.
Historical venue for the Gelato World Cup is Sigep, the largest and most comprehensive B2B trade fair in the world dedicated to artisan gelato and confectionery which, since 1979 has maintained and strengthened its undisputed leadership. Sigep, the 37th appointment of which will be staged in January 2016, is in fact dedicated to the professional operators of five continents and has always spearheaded new market trends and promoted the excellence of made in Italy products.

At the 2016 Gelato World Cup contests, all national teams taking part will use products just from GIUBILEO EXPERIENCE range from COMPRITAL. Giubileo Exp brings the gelato maker into a “quality path” made of an ingredient list without vegetable fats, emulsifiers, artificial stabilizers. Fresh milk, fresh cream, grape sugar, cane sugar are the pages of the good artisanal Italian gelato.
