PEPTIDES, Elsevier Inc., and the Department of Psychology, University of New Orleans, are proud to sponsor the GAYLE A. OLSON & RICHARD D. OLSON PRIZE to be awarded annually to the senior author of the most meritorious original research article on the behavioral effects of peptides published during the previous year in PEPTIDES The recipient will receive a cash prize of $2,000, and write an article in PEPTIDES describing the winning research program as a Gayle A. Olson & Richard D. Olson Prize review. In addition to their primary research articles, their annual review of the research literature on opiate peptides has become a highly respected mainstay in the field. All behavioral articles published in PEPTIDES during the calendar year will automatically be considered for the Olson Prize. Abba J. Olson and Richard D. Olson to the field of peptide research over the past four decades. Each of these distinguished scientists has actively published original research on the behavioral effects of neuropeptides and served on the editorial board of PEPTIDES since its inception in 1980.
