VALENCIAN REGION DELEGATION IN BRUSSELS http://www.programasue.info The office in Brussels represents, defends and promotes the interests of the Valencian Region to the EU institutions Aim: to open Europe making process to the public administrations, chambers of trade, financial institutions, technological institutes, universities, NGOs, municipalities, and definitively the Valencian society European legislation monitoring and advising. PARTICIPATION DEMOCRACY The Fundacin Comunidad Valenciana Regin Europea (FCV-RE), is a non-for-profit entity, based at the Valencia Regional Office in Brussels. Objective: to link public administrations and business associations -as well as research institutes- to the European Union, favouring their integration in European projects. FCV-RE aims to boost projects and contribute to their success through an efficient inter-regional cooperation. The Foundation has already developed several tools to coordinate efforts and to disseminate information, such as a comprehensive website that offers interactive services to keep citizens permanently updated on the latest research and innovation news from the EU institutions. www.uegva.info

Registered users can customize search profiles, getting instantly e- mailed every new record added to the database. The website offers dissemination and communication of results, as well as best-practice experience database.

Bridging partnerships: both public and private such as regional or local offices, companies, research institutes- in order to effectively cooperate for the success of European projects. Best practices: FCV-RE has already developed successful European projects from public impulse and the collaboration of the Valencian civil society. International consortiums: for EU programmes as EIE, IST, LIFE Environment, Interreg III, Leonardo, e-TEN.

Brussels based: we offer press-related services, writing and releasing articles and reports through the comprehensive database that contains European, national, regional and local officers, media, decision- makers and think-tanks. Assistance: the FCV-RE offers assistance on EU legislation and information on funding and business opportunities to both public and private institutions.
