We offer both versions of ALTRAGRIPS-LITE™ to our crews. Both are lightweight and

extremely easy to use. The High Profile is issued to those who need more traction for

extensive outdoor walking. The Low Profile is perfect for those who are exposed to ice

and snow, but also operate vehicles or walk back and forth indoors and out throughout

the day. The ALTRAGRIPS-LITE™ has been a unique addition to our safety program.

LOW PROFILE STUD [MODEL JD3615]: The low profile stud protrudes

only minimally (approximately 1mm) from the sole of ALTRAGRIPS-LITE™.

This enables the device to increase traction in outdoor walking conditions

while remaining safer to wear indoors and in normal conditions than

most studded and spiked footwear.

HIGH PROFILE STUD [MODEL JD36159]: The high profile stud is

more pronounced and exposed (protruding approximately 3mm)

from the sole of ALTRAGRIPS-LITE™. This enables a more aggressive

level of traction. The high profile stud is not recommended for indoor

or normal walking conditions.

ALTRAGRIPS-LITE™ All-Traction™ Footwear fits over the shoe and is designed to increase

traction in a variety of outdoor slippery conditions. The sole of ALTRAGRIPS-LITE™ features

16 steel encased tungsten carbide studs that are available in two different heights,

offering a choice of increased traction or increased versatility.

conditions such as ice, snow and slush. The two different

versions of ALTRAGRIPS-LITE™ allow you to choose from the

level of aggressiveness of traction.

GRIP-XTM features a unique, patented

dual rear pull-tab system that you

won’t see on any other walking device.

The dual pull-tabs can be grabbed with

both hands and used to elongate and

widen the device for unbelievable ease

of on and off. This design overcomes the

ineffectiveness of the antiquated single

pull-tab and single-loop systems.

Patented Dual-Density Design

To achieve maximum stretch while

maintaining durability in the upper

portion of GRIP-XTM, the upper is molded

to a precise thickness. This thickness

increases substantially on the sole

portion of GRIP-XTM in order to increase

durability and help to prevent the spikes

from inadvertently falling out.

Full Heel Cup and Critical Heel-Strike Spike

Because the first part of your foot

that contacts the walking surface is

the back of the heel, GRIP-XTM features

a critical heel-strike spike, ensuring

traction on first contact. This spike

starts the process of preventing slips

and falls before other products have hit

the ground. GRIP-XTM also features a full

heel cup ensuring greater balance and

stability with each step.

Patented Spike Clip

GRIP-XTM features a patented two-piece spike clip system. The two-piece

system allows the spike clip to be firmly clamped together and locked

into place, as opposed to merely “pushed through”.

Not only was the aggressive traction of GRIP-XTM exactly what we were looking for,

but the durability blew me away. With other products like this, the spikes would

fall out and the rubber would tear—making them worthless. But GRIP-XTM held up

like a champ. It’s the perfect product for industrial use.

increase traction in a variety of slick conditions—from snow

and ice to oil and grease.

Molded with a proprietary rubber compound, GRIPS-LITETM fits

securely over all types of work boots, shoes and sneakers. Utilizing a

patented dual pull-tab system, GRIPS-LITETM are uniquely easy

to put on and take off.

The sole of GRIPS-LITETM features bands of

sandpaper-like aluminum oxide. These bands are composed of

hundreds of tiny traction points that enable GRIPS-LITETM to offer

increased traction above and beyond that of normal rubber-soled

shoes and boots. The sandpaper-like bands are both non-conduc-tive and non-sparking.

GRIPS-LITETM are extremely versatile. Not only will they help to

increase traction in slick conditions, but they are also safe to wear

HEEL GRIPSTM is a compact and lightweight

winter walking device.

Featuring five studs and an aggressive tread design, Heel-Grips will

provide traction in ice and snow conditions. The studs are made of

tungsten carbide for maximum durability for industrial work condi-

tions. The studs are molded into the device to further ensure maxi-

mum durability and retention in even the harshest climates.

The Heel-Grips™ connects with a fully adjustable and replaceable

cross over strap. Each size of Heel-Grips™ features approximately four

inches of adjustability making the Heel-Grips™ perfect for a variety of

styles of work shoes from plain shoes to bulky pack boots.

The strap on Heel-Grips™ is also fully replaceable enabling the user to

replace the strap in the event of a tear or excessive wear.

We tried other spiked boots, but they proved to be too heavy for my crew. In the

end, we just retracted the whole program and gave up. That was until we found

ALTRAGRIPSTM. They’re lightweight, yet durable. They fit over everything, and with

two different pin heights, the product enables us to pick the level of aggressiveness

that we want. I’d recommend ALTRAGRIPSTM to anyone in general industry.

LOW PROFILE STUD // The low profile stud

is designed to increase traction in both outdoor and

indoor walking situations and provides effective

traction in conditions such as ice, snow, slush,

chemicals, fats and free-standing water. Because the

low profile studs protrude only minimally above the

sole of ALTRAGRIPSTM, they are safe for most indoor

walking conditions as well as for wearing while driving.

HIGH PROFILE STUD // The high profile stud is

designed to offer a more aggressive level of traction.

It is most effective in harsher outdoor environments

where snow, ice and slush abound.

keep the sole of ALTRAGRIPSTM

free of build-up through its

self-cleaning design. The alter-

nating grooves start off narrow

and shallow at the instep, but

gradually widen and deepen

toward the outer edge. This

helps to dictate the flow and

elimination of contaminants

such as snow and slush.

Patented Angle Tread®

The Angle Tread® maximizes

contact with the walking

surface by matching the grit-

bars to the alignment of the

metatarsal bones of your foot.

Expansive Opening and Inside Spray Coating

ALTRAGRIPSTM 10” and 15” boots

feature a larger-than-normal

opening and shaft as well as a

proprietary inside spray coat to

facilitate easy-on, easy-off.

Patented Trim-Line®

The Patented Trim-Line®

feature allows you to cut away a

portion of the upper part

to expand the opening for

larger and bulkier boots

including metatarsals.

GRIPS® Over-the-Sock All-TractionTM Footwear is designed

to increase traction in a variety of slick conditions—from

snow and ice to oil and grease.

The sole of GRIPS® features bands of sandpaper-like aluminum oxide

that enable GRIPS® to offer increased traction above and beyond that

of normal rubber-soled shoes and boots. The sandpaper-like bands are

both non-conductive and non-sparking.

Plain Toe or Steel Toe

GRIPS® Over-the Sock models feature a hard-

ened steel shank. They are available

in both plain toe and an ANSI/CSA steel toe for

extra protection. The boot is constructed of a

polyurethane and PVC combination and offers a moderate level of

chemical resistance. It is ideal for situations such as food processing

facilities, refineries and breweries.

GRIPS® Over-the Sock boots are extremely versatile. Not only will they

help to increase traction in slick conditions, but they are also safe to

wear indoors as well as while driving. This makes GRIPS® the perfect

solution for a multitude of industrial applications.

up with wax. With GRIPPERS for

STRIPPERSTM, you get a pad that

is permanently adhered. This

completely eliminates the need

for sole replacements.

It’s Not Red Spaghetti…

The key to GRIPPERS for

STRIPPERSTM is the unique red,

fibrous loop material. The

open weave allows water to be

temporarily sponged up and

removed from underfoot. The vinyl

itself provides additional traction.

The material is easy to clean and
