    Since 1st December 2014, Doctors Surgeries are being asked to take part in the 'Friends and Family Test'. To do this we conduct short surveys to find out how you feel about the services we provide.

    To understand how these results compare to the number of patients who use the service we have identified that the current practice patient population is 21,355 patients (as at 25.7.18) and during June 2018 we provided 4800 GP appointments & 3744 Emergency Nurse Appointments. We also provided 2992 appointments with the Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistants.

  • We therefore do not feel the results of this survey fully reflect the views of the entire patient population as the numbers of returned surveys are so small. However, we are doing all we can to increase the number of these surveys which are completed. We would like to thank patients for taking the time to contact us with their feedback, we are very keen to learn about your experiences. The results of this survey have been compiled into a report. This report is shared with the Partners & Senior Management Team for discussion at their next Service Planning meeting. At this meeting they reflect on patients feedback and improve services wherever possible.
