Wagamama is a Japanese-inspired restaurant combining fresh and nutritious food with friendly service and value for money. Dishes are prepared immediately, ensuring they arrive freshly cooked and although dishes may be delivered at different times, the Wagamama philosophy is: don’t wait – just tuck in and

share! Wagamama now has restaurants around the UK, including one on Putney High Street, offering Wagamama’s world famous noodles, delicious rice dishes and tasty salads.

Ingredients (Serves 2)100g Thai-style rice noodles

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 egg, beaten and seasoned

2 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped

1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped

100g chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces

50g firm pork sausage, sliced

1 head pak choi, roughly sliced lengthways

1 teaspoon soft brown sugar

1 teaspoon of soy sauce

A handful of bean spouts

60g kamaboka-aka sliced

2 spring onions, finely sliced

* Cook the noodles accordingly to the instructions on the packet,

drain and refresh under cold water.

* Put 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil into a hot wok. Add the egg,

swirl so that it coats the base and cook for 1 minute. Remove,

allow to cool, then roll up and thinly slice.

* Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the wok and stir fry the

garlic and chilli for 30 seconds. Add the chicken, sausage and

pak choi. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes or until the chicken is coked.

* Add the sugar, soy sauce, beansprouts and kamaboko-aka

along with the reserved noodles and the egg and toss so that

everything is heated through.

* Serve topped with spring onions.
