FRAUDULENT USE OF COUNCIL’S EMBLEM FOR FATWA

The following so called fatwa issued by one Mufti Asad Shah Bukhari on a

plain paper with Council’s emblem fraudulently imprinted/copied on it has nothing

to do with the Council.

Issuance of Fatwa does not come under the purview of the Council and as

such the Council has no Dar al-Ifta. Further, the said Mufti Asad Shah Bukhari is

neither a Member of the Council nor does he belong to the Research

Wing/Secretariat of the Council.

Legal action, in this regard, is under consideration.
