THE NEW MEL BROOKS MUSICAL
YOUNG FRANKENSTEINGrandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick
Frankenstein (pronounced “Fronk-en-steen”) inherits his
family’s estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunch-
backed sidekick, Igor (pronounced “Eye-gore”), and a leg-
gy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick
finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors.
“It’s alive!” he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to
rival his grandfather’s. Eventually, of course, the mon-
ster escapes and hilarity abounds. With such memorable
tunes as “The Transylvania Mania,” “He Vas My Boyfriend,”
and “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is scien-
tifically proven, monstrously-good entertainment.
Contains mature content. Parental discretion advised.

GOD OF CARNAGEWinner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, GOD OF CAR-
NAGE invites us to an evening in the lives of two couples,
residents of a Brooklyn neighborhood, who meet to dis-
cuss a violent playground incident between their sons. At
first, diplomatic niceties are observed and civil discussion
is predominant. But as the night progresses and the rum
flows freely, tensions emerge and the gloves come off,
leaving the couples with their principles—and more—
in tatters. Hilarious and brutal, GOD OF CARNAGE is a pas-
sionate, enthralling play that will stick with you long after
you’ve left the theater.
Contains explicit content. Adults only.

ry head-on! Featuring lovable characters, a few favorite

THE LION IN WINTERThe queen, and wealthiest woman in the world, Eleanor
of Aquitaine, has been kept in prison since raising an army
against her husband, King Henry II, and is only let out for
holidays. Set during the Christmas of 1183, this fiery play
centers around the inner conflicts of the Plantagenet fam-
ily as they are locked in a free-for-all of competing ambi-
tions to inherit a kingdom. As Eleanor says, “Every family
has its ups and downs,” and this royal family is no excep-
tion. Comedic in tone, dramatic in action, THE LION IN WIN-
TER is a classic of the American theater, made even more
popular by the 1968 film starring Peter O’Toole and Kath-
arine Hepburn. Our intimate Cellar production promises
to be a theatrical experience that you won’t soon forget.
