Seems legit! How can you make this happen?

The more workers who join the union, the more power we have to influence the company.

We hope that the company will accept our claim that you guys should be on a contract with the same pay, rights and protections as other Carl’s Jr workers. It seems a fair and reasonable request. But if this is rejected by the company, then we will end up in dispute and will have to apply pressure

in other ways in order to encourage the company to accept these claims.

Equal work deserves equal pay.Restaurant Brands Carl’s Jr pay rates and how to get them.

What happens if the company says NO?

If the company says no, then it’s action time! When a Union and a company get into a dispute over pay or working conditions, the unionised workers must put pressure on the company to acdept the claims of the workers..

This can be done through industrial action (strikes) and through communicating with customers, the local community and the public in general, most of whom we believe will support workers being paid and treated fairly. We believe that in the case of strikes and campaigning being necessary for you to get what we consider a fair deal, public opinion will be firmly on your side.

If you feel that you deserve the same pay and protections as other Carls Jr workers in New Zealand, the best thing you can do right now is join Unite Union, encourage all your other co-workers to do the same.

“I joined the union because sometimes companies dont listen to or help their em-ployees so i wanted the added protection of the union.” - Cherie McMillan of Carl’s Jr Mangere

“My fellow workers arent being treated fairly. I wish to givevthem a fair place to work. And an environment where they feel wanted and appreciated.” - Josh Margraff of Carl’s Jr Glen Innes (St John’s)
