INTRODUCTION The organizers of the Formula
Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup
announce a new stepping-stone in motorsports:
Formula Renault 1.6 NEC Junior
The high performance but low budget-racing car
fills the void between karting and the 2 litre Formula Renault. The series offers an interesting
calendar with races on renowned racetracks in the
Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
PROVISIONAL CALENDAR
The organizers will make a selection
out of the following racetracks:
Zandvoort
Assen
Zolder
Spa – Francorchamps
Hockenheimring
Nurburgring
TESTING
The organizers will provide two collective
testing days per race track.
MEETING FORMAT
Each race weekend will consist of:
25 minutes Free Practice
20 minutes Qualification
18 minutes Race 1
18 minutes Race 2
Per weekend: 4 new tyres and 4 used

FULL SEASON REGISTRATION
The entry fee before the 1st of
December 2012 is 5000 Euros.
Entry fee received after the 1st of December is
6000 Euros.

PRIZES
The winner of the Formula Renault 1.6
NEC Junior receives a test and a free entry
fee for the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC.
The second and third placed driver receive a test in
the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC.

PRESS
The official Northern European Cup Formula
Renault 1.6 English website is www.frcup.com
Photography, standings, press releases, etc. etc., will
be added throughout the season on the website as
well as links to existing team and driver websites.
There will be two press releases per event; one prior to
the race weekend and one after the race on Sunday to
the international press. A photographer shall attend
all races
