refineavarietyofmachinesandmechanicalsystems.Studentslearnbasicsoffluidmechanics,simplemachines,andotherdesignandengineeringconceptswhileconstructingrollercoasters,egg-dropvehicles,andanincrediblyfastairpowereddragstertheykeepattheendofthecourse.

• JuniorMechanicalEngineering(GradesK-2)WidgetsandGadgetsTheJuniorMechanicalEngineeringclassesintroduceouryoungestengineerstofundamentalconceptsofenergy,materials,andmovement.Throughopenandfocusedexploration,studentsexploreandconstructtheirownrollercoasters,catapults,cars,andmore.

• LEGOEducation-FunwithSimpleMachines:Simplemachinesisanengaginghands-ontollthatusesreallifeLEGOelementstohelpsK-1studentslearnandexplorebasicmechanicalprinciplesonhowgears,levers,pulleys,wheelsandaxelswork,whilegainingearlyinsightintoscienceandengineering.Theywillinvestigateforce,buoyancyandbalance,andsolveproblemswiththroughdesignswhileworkinginacollaborativesetting.

• LEGOEducation:ScienceExploration:UsingLEGOWeDO2.0thisclasswithstrengthenstudentsunderstandingofscienceandengineeringpracticessuchasaskingquestions,solvingproblems,prototyping,investigatingandanalyzing.Studentsdevelopcompetencythroughhandsonprojectsacrosskeysciencetopicssuchasphysical,life,earthandspacesciencesallwhileintegratingtheuseofrelevantdigitaltoolstoimprovecomputationalthinkingskills.
